MBKC Announces Sponsorship of The Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts!

Mercedes-Benz of Kansas City is proud to be one of the corporate sponsors of The Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. We recognize that this venue has become a game-changer for Kansas City, bringing us national attention for our commitment to the arts, and will provide a place for people to experience those performances for years to come.

In addition to sponsoring the building itself, we are sponsoring the Center’s Legends Series, which kicks off with a May 8^th performance of Aretha Franklin. Although we won’t have permanent signage, look for Mercedes-Benz vehicles to be on display for all future performances.

2012 New Vehicle Launches

With 2011 drawing to a close, the 5 new models we launched at Mercedes-Benz of Kansas City this year have taken off. The Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe, SLK Roadster, CLS, M-Class, and SLS AMG roadster have all been released to  rave reviews amid short supply and high demand.

In 2012, we have even more models coming your way. Here is a preview of what’s next:

2013 Mercedes-Benz SL: The SL has long been the flagship sports convertible for Mercedes-Benz. In 2013 the vehicle sports a complete redesign, complete with new engine options, a redesigned exterior, and a brand new interior reminiscent of the SLS AMG supercar. The vehicle will launch as a 2013 model year in late April/early May.

2013 Mercedes-Benz SL Roadster

2013 Mercedes-Benz GL: The biggest SUV of them all will be completely redesigned for the 2013 model year. Launching in late August, this SUV will get a complete makeover externally and internally, borrowing some styling cues from the new ML, its smaller sibling. Manufactured in the United States, this car will have a remarkably short order to arrival time.

2013 Mercedes-Benz GLK: The GLK small-SUV will receive a small exterior facelift, as well as a complete interior redesign. This interior redesign will greatly enhance the luxury of the cabin, and better integrate the COMAND system. Also available for 2013 will be a smaller 4-cylinder motor option.

2013 Mercedes-Benz C-Coupe with 4MATIC: The gorgeous new C-Class coupe that was launched in 2011 will now be available in 4MATIC all-wheel drive, a popular option in our market. This will both enhance its driving dynamics as well as its ability to take to the roads no matter what weather has in store.

smart center Kansas City and smart center Merriam are celebrating the holidays in a different way. We want to give you free tickets to the Midland Theater by AMC!

We Are Donating $1 for Every New Facebook Like in December to Operation Uplift!

For every fan we get in December, we will donate $1 for Operation Uplift to Help the Homeless!

It’s December, and that means it’s a time to be with friends and family in the comfort of our own home. Unfortunately for the thousands of homeless in the Kansas City area, that reality is not possible. Forced to live outside in the cold, with very little resources, winter can be rough.

That’s why for the month of December, Mercedes-Benz of Kansas City will donate $1 to Operation Uplift for every person that “Likes” our Facebook page. Simply put, we will take our fan count on the 31^st, subtract where we are today, and pay Uplift the difference.

Uplift is a Kansas City based nonprofit that provides food, clothing, and other assistance to the homeless community of Kansas City. They can be found on the web at www.Uplift.org.

MBKC: Review of 2011

2011 has been quite a year for us here at Mercedes-Benz of Kansas City. With everything from events, new business partners, new vehicles, and our changes in web presence and social media, we have been busier than ever before.

To celebrate, we will be spending each week in December reviewing the great memories from 2011, and for the final week of the year, we will be giving you some insight into what’s next for 2012. Parts and Service Go-Kart Championship!

Some people may not be aware, but Mercedes-Benz of Kansas City and Aristocrat Motors are both owned by a parent corporation, The Soave Automotive Group. The Soave Automotive Group operates these stores as separate facilities, but we do emphasize to all of our employees the importance of working together as a team.

It is extremely important that a parts and service department to function as a team so mistakes are not made and to ensure our customers receive the best possible experience.

So we organized a giant go-kart championship.

 This week at Sadler’s Racing in Olathe, members from Aristocrat Motors and Mercedes-Benz of Kansas City took to the indoor track to settle who our fastest go kart driver is. 

The tournament is a series of rounds, where each driver has 10 minutes to race, and the drivers with the fastest lap times advance to the subsequent rounds.
